This is our "Bread and Butter" service! Maybe that sounds gross in a septic context?! Just saying we pump a LOT of tanks...it's a our main gig.

 

The rule of thumb is that most tanks need to be pumped out every 3-5 years. Based on the size of your tank, what is being flushed, and number of residents it could be MUCH shorter or longer. A retired couple with a 1500 gallon tank who use a bidet can go a LOT longer than 6 people in a home with a 750 gallon tank who flush wipes and grease! Use a table like this one to get an idea of how often you should get your tank pumped.
